Delivery Time
We are a family run retail store.
Your order, unlike many of the large candy warehouses, is hand packed
and shipped straight from our storefront in Shiner, Texas. We make it
our goal to ship in-stock items within one working day of receiving your
order. If your item is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as
possible, often the same day, to give you an estimated ship date.
While we adhere to our policy that all sales are final, should you be
dissatisfied with any part of your order, please let us know,
as this is the only way we can improve.
Quality
It has been our policy for the last five years to provide our customers
with product that is made by whomever we believe makes it the best. We
have found that often those who did it first are the best. For example,
our candy corn comes from Jelly Belly, the company that invented candy
corn under the Goelitz name over 100 years ago. Our homemade candies
are made fresh, from scratch, on top of the stove, just like Grandma
did, for this very reason. Too many companies today rely on mixes, use
starter bases, and sacrifice the quality of the product with each
time-saving cost-cutting step. Orders for homemade candy may take an
additional two days to fill, so that we can deliver to you a batch made
with you in mind.

We are located in South Central Texas and the heat can soar to above
80 degrees any day of the year. If we feel that the quality of your
candy is in jeopardy, we will ship, when possible, using flat rate
postal priority mail. If your order incurs additional shipping charges,
we will contact you. Please do not hesitate to utilize the shipping
instructions during check out.
Special Instructions
Our shopping cart gives you the opportunity to provide special
instructions for shipping. Here you can defer your order to a later
ship date, tell us what to write on an enclosure card when shipping
to a friend or loved one, or indicate that you do not have a carrier
preference. If you indicate that you do not have a shipping preference,
we will select the least expensive carrier.
Shipping Costs
Our website provides estimations on cost. Regardless of the shipment method
you choose, we will select our best method. Over 90% of our orders ship
Postal Priority and take less than three days to receive. If we need to
charge you a higher shipping rate we will contact you prior to shipping.
In the event that your shipping and handling charges are less, we will
only charge your card for our actual expenses for packaging and shipping.
Privacy Policy
The information we collect is used primarily for the sole purpose of filling orders.
It may also be used to improve the content of our Web Site, used to notify consumers
about updates to our Web Site, and used by us to contact consumers for marketing
purposes. We do not share the information with other organizations for any purpose.
When you set up an account, we ask your permission to send you e-mail. We do allow
you to opt-out.
If you supply us with your postal address, you may receive periodic mailings from
us with information on products and services or upcoming events.
If at any time you no longer wish to receive such e-mail or postal mailings from
us, please let us know by calling, writing or sending e-mail to us telling us
that you do not want to receive mail or e-mail from our company anymore. Please
provide us with your exact name and address. We will be sure your name is removed
from our lists for such purposes.
If you supply us with your telephone number or fax number, you may receive
telephone contact from us with information regarding orders your have placed
on-line or your on-line user account. We will only contact you by phone on an
as-needed basis. Your phone number will not be used for solicitations.
